Price competitiveness
This section brings together various indicators related to the price dimension of countries’ competitiveness. These indicators include both measures of external price competitiveness (the price ratio between domestic and foreign goods in international markets) and internal price competitiveness (the price ratio between tradable and non-tradable domestic goods). All these indices are calculated for each country relative to a base year and constructed such that an increase in the index corresponds to a decline in the country’s price competitiveness.

Revealed Competitiveness
This section brings together measures of countries’ revealed competitiveness in international markets, that is, their ability to export to those markets. These measures of export competitiveness are therefore the result of the price and non-price competitiveness factors presented in the sections “National Attractiveness and Sustainability” and “Price Competitiveness.” They are defined on a scale ranging from 0 to 10,000, with a higher value indicating greater export competitiveness in international markets.
