Methodology
Safety and Rule of Law is one of the four categories that are used to calculate the Overall Governance score of the Mo Ibrahim Index. It consists of four sub-categories, made up of 25 indicators (from 16 data sources) divided into four sub-categories: rule of Law, accountability, personal Safety and national Security. Performance score from 0 to 100. The highest score reflects the best situation.
