Political rights and civil liberties
Methodology
This indicator consists of variables relating to political rights and civil liberties, information taken from Freedom House. The notion of political rights refers to the ability of citizens to participate in free elections. This implies a transparent electoral process and party pluralism. Individual freedoms are synonymous with freedom of expression and beliefs, including religious beliefs, association and assembly, but also education in the sense that it determines the person's future mode of functioning. These rights and freedoms are thus attributes of the rule of law. For each country, Freedom House information is distributed between 1 and 7. Performance score from 0 to 100. The highest score reflects the best situation.
